Seamaster 300 build 166.024
Was thinking about sourcing a 565 movement to send to archer watches to be built into a 166.024 seamaster 300 using new omega parts. I realize that the watch would appear new and even though its heart would be fully serviced it would still be around forty years old. My concern would be the resale value on something like this should I decide that I wanted to sell in the future. Do any of you omega guys have any advice, suggestions, or guesstimate on a value for something like this?

Easter Magic: Incoming!
After uttering the words nautilus aren't for me many times, I suddenly developed an insatiable itch for wanting to own THE nautilus. Once a watch nut gets an idea in their head, as many of you know, there is only one way to scratch that itch: INCOMINGIMG_0168.jpgWhile for years I preferred the 15202 over the 5711 as I found the 15202 to be the original Genta and loved the lack of a seconds hand, legendary caliber and the bracelet on it, my initial impressions of the 5711 1/A are very good. The watch is incredibly comfortable and the dial is really magical how it changes in the light: probably the only correct answer is to own both! How important is an original bezel insert - 70's Sub?
I'm thinking about a 70's 5513 - the watch looks great but papers say a replacement bezel insert was installed five years ago. I've poked around but can't find an answer to the question of how important to the value of the watch is an original bezel insert? By important I guess I'm thinking about how does it generally affect the desirability and value when an insert is replaced?The bezel insert does appear to be aged or period as it's faded from black to a blue. Thanks in advance!
