Baume & Mercier Capeland Flyback Chronograph (Video)
For 2011 the 180-year-old brand is launching a new chronograph in its Capeland line. The 44mm case, available in steel or 18K red gold, houses a La Joux-Perret automatic bi-compax chronograph movement with flyback and date. The dial offers a distinctly vintage appeal with telemeter and tachymeter scales. Blued or gilt Breguet hands complete the retro look. Find wallpaper and prices inside. The movement is visible through a sapphire caseback and features blued steel screws and a circular-grained finish for the plate and the bridges. The rotor is engraved with the brand's emblematic Phi, further adorned with C?tes de Genve and snailed dcor. The steel version is priced at $7000, while the 18K red gold model retails at $18,000plete specifications appear below the images, which may be enlarged with a click.ReferencesCAPELAND 10006 – SteelCAPELAND 10007 – 18K red goldMovement: Manufacture, automatic, (La Joux-Perret 8147-2)Open worked oscillating weight adorned with C?tes de
AP Diver Curiosity...
Hey Guys,Just out of curiosity, how does the AP Diver 15710st compare to a Rolex Submariner in terms of ruggedness for daily wearing, perhaps one and only. I know the Submariner is much more service friendly. Thanks!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Need trade advise ASAP please!
Dear all!Posted the same in the rolex section...In my current collection I have two PP and one Jaeger. The PPs are one 5711 white dial and a 5712. The Jaeger is master grand reveil perpetual calendar in steel. I would like to add som gold to my collection and are thinking of adding a dd II in YG (218238. The question is shall I flip the 5711 and go for the ddII? Should also add that I get a really good discount on the dd II sowe are talking aprox 2000-3000 usd that I have to pay extra to get the rolex. Am I stupid trading the 5711? Is the PP a better investment from a value perspective than the ddII? Both watches sing to me but I kind of think that having two PPs are a single minded but they come across very diffrent. Cheers
