New Shoes for ROC
Finally did the conversion today! The AP leather straps are very comfortable to wear, and certainly change the look of ROC drastically in a positive way Had a hard time choosing the style of the straps, but finally settled with the safest and most classical black straps which I believe is versatile for all occasions. A month anniversary of 5167 and lifting my skirt
The normally reserved 324 SC, is a marvel in caliber engineering of 3.3mm.In 31 days of daily wearing my watch gained +5.5s, very very accurate. The idea of a Patek Philippe seal is to create a holistic execution of case, strap, dial and movement on the same level of fit, finish and quality as a Geneva seal movement, plus chronometer grade accuracy.
The four seasons...
Ahhh after all the snow we've had dumped on us I thought of this symphony of watches to remind myself that spring is hopefully inevitable....Winter - icy cold and primal Spring - refreshing, crisp, energizing and rebirth!Summer - blazing heat and blinding sunny glory!Fall - all colors, cool breezes and qarm sweaters and walks in the park! Now of course I jut wear them whenever I like :) but thought it would make a nice little symphony of pics from my lineup! Feel free to share your own if you care!
PAM90 Power Reserve
I have a friend who just purchased a PAM90 Power Reserve (no box or papers). I opened the case back for him to find that it had the 7750-p3 OP III Movement. I am not familiar with Panerai, he said it was a pam90. I thought the PAM90 had the Caliber IX but this has the Panerai OPIII w. power reserve. It's a F series. Is this possible? I have attached the picture of the movement from the watch he purchased. Here is a picture of the dial.
18 Days!! PAM 270 or PAM 233?
Showing the subtle differences of the PAM 270 vs PAM 233. Notice the bigger font size of the 12 & 6 on the PAM 233. The longer hour markers on the PAM 233. The lesser calibration on the PAM 270 power reserve. The larger power reserve circle indicator on the PAM 233. The thicker minute hand of the PAM 270. And of course the more obvious differences, the AM/PM indicator differences and the and the absence of the 9 on the PAM 233.Which dial do you like better?
