Interview With Kelly Rowland, TW Steel Watches Ambassador
Big in oversized watches is the motto that defines TW Steel. Even at the earliest point of its career, the youngish Dutch brand proved a savvy early adopter of the large watch craze that ultimately transcended trends to become an enduring staple on contemporary wrists. TW Steel's models appealed because they engaged the lifestyle fashion aspect of oversized watches with bold, exciting designs, but with respectful nods to traditional watchmaking that garnered a second look from watch aficionados. That stemmed from from TW Steel's attention to features, fit, and finish well beyond the reasonable price points to aspirational experiments with automatic calibres that indicated an interest in elevating the marque to higher horological waters.Hitting at the right place at the right time has given TW Steel some notable followers. 15400 just back from AP service - 5711 comparison?
So I just got my 15400 back from AP service for its 3rd year warranty extension. Also had the polish done and the watch looks incredible. Putting it back on my wrist reminded me of what an incredible watch this is. For those of you that own an 5711 or 5712 PP, is it really worth almost 3X the price for another stainless steel piece?Or is the RG 44 ROO a better option? Both appear to be around $35k.
AP vs VC
Hey Guys....So I've always had a soft spot for VC's and AP'sThe Overseas line has been calling me, particularly the two time zone, and I've always liked the ROO's (Dalip's recent thread on his Diver is what's inspiring my recent dilemma)So between the two...is there any reason why I would go for one rather than the other...and Yes I know they're two completely different animals. Call it a late new years Resolution, but I think I'll need to get either or by the end of 2012....just in case the world ends!
Anybody ever heard of the PAM 464?
Saw this on another website 'Luminor Marina - 'Pig Las Vegas Boutique' Panerai PAM 464' and cannot find many reviews or why it was even made. Does anyone have any information or thoughts on this model? What movement it has? Is it a 'real' Panerai or some kitchy Vegas knockoff? Any info is appreciated.thx!BTW - first time posting and love this forum!!
14060 for 114060
Have been thinking about it for one year now and finally pulled the trigger on moving my 114060 for a 14060 (box + papers as well!). I am loving the 5 digit reference and look forward to continuing in this crazy world of Rolex
