Major jump in prices on Vintage Watchco Seamaster builds!
I was just checking Ebay for Vintage Seamaster 300s as I often do, and came across a few Watchco listings for their newly built Vintage Seamaster 300. They had been asking a buy it now of $3700 just a few weeks ago. Today the buy it now is $4400.I knew the day would come that the prices on these would go through the roof...that time is now. As some of you are aware I built three of these in the last few months and due to price increases I have stopped doing builds of my own. Glad I got in on them while they were still reasonable. One of my builds is still my daily wearer and favorite watch I have ever owned.If anyone is considering one, or has been, you better get one now before they are $5000.

5167A or VC Overseas Grey Dial
I'm having a difficult time deciding between a PP 5167A Aquanaut (time +date) and the VC Overseas deep stream (grey dial time+date) on a rubber strap. This watch will more than likely be my daily. I know the 5167 is a great watch. Are there are any pros or cons to either model that I should know about before making my final decision?

Well, it was last tuesday when I fully wound my pam233.. And 10 days past since then; and it is still beating.. Keeping perfect time.. So they should have called it 10 Days instead of eight ..

Who decides Rolex nick names? Because the SD43 needs a better handle.
One of the forum members on here mentioned that we should give the SD43 a better name. I personally agree. SD43 is very bland at best, and it definitely deserves a BA handle. I have no idea how these things actually get their names, but as Rolex aficionados in the forum I see no reason why we finally couldn't bless this Game changing model with a great nickname. With other famous Rolex novelties having names like Batman, President, Fat lady, and Superman GMT etc. I have to agree that the SD43 needs to have a very cool handle. The best way I can think of to do this is everyone comes up with a name then at the end of the month based on seconds, and votes we pick a WINNER.So far:Vader,The Red Bull,and Big Red,Are ideas I have seen. But I am sure no one is smarter than all of us, as far as coming up with a name for this new iconic model.So get to brainstorming gentlemen! We have a Rolex to name.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Searching for the Right Everose
Opinions and advice needed!I am a 30 yo female starting a new job as a consultant in a couple weeks. Important to know because I do not want to be too flashy with my watch or else I would feel uncomfortable at client sites. I am looking for a watch that is classy, timeless, understated, a bit masculine, and that I'll keep and use forever. I have a SS 31mm DJ that is stunning but I do not wear it enough because my engagement and wedding rings are rose gold. I went to a local AD yesterday intending to firm up my decision to buy a 36mm Everose DD on a leather strap and ended up falling in love with the Everose Daytona with a black dial. I just can't wrap my mind around the price and heft of that watch. It is incredible but I can already see myself not wearing it to work at all during the week and that would defeat the entire purpose and enjoyment for me.
