who else, other than Clearwater, can service your AP?
If the only thing you need is service on the movement, no polishing or parts to be replaced, where would be the best place to send? I'm sure an experienced watchmaker would be capable of handling the service on an AP. No?

The iconic Lange Datograph is within my reach but I have to trade in my mint 5110P plus 10k cash. The Dato is in mint condition but 7+ years old and has not been serviced. My 5110P has been serviced by Patek 3 years ago. Thoughts?

Hello all,As we all know, things occasionally work out unexpectedly. I woke up yesterday intending to go to work for a few hours, but as the week left me tired, added to a slight hangover, I decided not to go. I was prepared to stay in and relax, when I remembered an employee at my local Rolex AD suggesting I check out another store about an hour away from me. With nothing better to do, and a fairly nice day out, I thought of going to see what Patek watches they might have. I've been checking out the the 3700, 5711/1A and 5167A but was yet to see any of these in the metal. Still, an hour is a long drive, so I decided to give them a call, hoping there was a chance there was at least a 5167A I could see to make the trip worth it. To my utter astonishment, the guy says he has a 5711/1A and a 5167A that arrived that very morning. He said it was available, and he sounded almost as shocked as I was. So, I drove down to check it out. I only intended to look, and felt lucky just to get a chanc
