WATCH WINNER REVIEW: Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver
Nick L. was the fortunate winner of the Maurice Lacroix Pontos S watch after our November 2014 watches-dealer giveaway. After receiving his watch, he was kind enough to snap some pictures and offer this winner watch review. This month you can enter to win a Swiss Claude Bernard Chronograph Automatic watch here. There are also still a couple of days left to enter to win a Tudor Heritage Chrono from TrueFacet here. Here is Nick's Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver watch review:I was extremely excited to find out that I had won this watch. I've entered almost every watches-dealer contest in the past 5 years or so, and to win one of the nicest watches that has been given away was quite a treat. I've liked the vintage yet modern styling of this watch ever since seeing the initial reviews of it, and I was looking forward to seeing one in person.First ImpressionsApologies that I do not have photos of the packaging, but I am in the middle of three weeks of back and forth traveling. I was home jus
Questions on this AP
Hi all,Never owned and AP, and I keep thinking about this particular one for sale. But I tend to flip, and wonder if you think this would be more difficult to sell/trade down the line (not a popular color combo, or an older model)?Just want to know if I'm missing anything. I see safaris and pandas are popular, but rarely see the navy blue..rolexforums/showthread.php?t=493985Thanks all!chrisSent from my Galaxy S6 using Tapatalk
15202... Worth It ?!
Gents,Im about to purchase my first AP, I have few rolexs and Panerai but never AP.I managed to find a brand new 2015 model 15202 but the dealer is asking me to pay the retail price without even 1% off. So my question/concern is does the 15202 is really worth the full retail as you guys know the 15400 or almost any other non rare AP can be be found for almost 20-25% off.FYI im talking about steel 15202.Do you guys think Its a smart investment and has a bright future ?!Appreciate your opinions and advicesCheers
Anyone recently used Omega for service?
I have a Seamaster Professional with a 7750 movement that needs a service; it seems the self winding isn't actually winding (winding via the crown works and the watch, otherwise, keeps great time).I used a watchmaker who was recommended, but he couldn't find the problem and said it was working perfectly. I sent the watch back to him several times, and he would say he fixed it. Eventually, I stopped sending it back to him after he suggested that the hands can only be taken off so many times before they break....I want the watch fixed. I bought it new almost twenty years ago and it has always run perfectly. I'm disappointed with my experience with this watchmaker. Has anyone used Omegas service center? Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks. LS
So this is year of gmt next year subs??
