Off To A. Lange & Sohne Watch Making Headquarters In Glashutte, Germany
I've been invited to Glashutte to visit Germany's preeminent luxury watch maker, A. Lange & Sohne. My trip will take me to the Ore Mountains region near Dresden, where A. Lange & Sohne's headquarters and factory is located. Glashutte's main employers are all watch makers, and is known as a prime region focused on the continuation of the world's most dedicated mechanical art from, horology. While touring Glashutte I'll have a rare opportunity to view the nervous system of a German luxury watch making machine, able to observe and converse with the master watch makers themselves. A. Lange & Sohne's production is between only 5000 - 7000 watches a year, due to extremely high quality demands. I am very excited to report my findings to you upon my return, so please pardon the lack of reading material for the next few days until January 17th.Take a look at this aerial view of Glashutte. This is no city, and barely a town. Regardless, this hamlet is world famous for producing mechan
15400 on skinny wrist
I've been deciding to add an AP to my collection and currently leaning towards the 15400. But being in Australia locating one is quite difficult and it'll be a lot easier for me to buy one here from a TD. Only problem is that I have a really skinny wrist 6.5. So I just wanted to see some pictures of the 15400 on skinny wrists before I make my final decision. Let's see those skinny wrists!
Need some help
Hello,First real post here, hope to get some advice on my next watch...I purchased a Offshore Diver about 6 months ago and I really love the watch. I wear it on a Safari Hornback strap and have ordered a Bracelet for it, however I have gotten a little bored and feel like buying another.I have been looking at the 15400 and really like it as well, but feel like I should try another brand of watch. At this time, the Diver is my only watch. The watches that I have been looking at are as follow:Rolex Two Tone GMT Master II (YG/SS)Rolex Two Tone Submariner (YG/SS)JLC Vintage Deep Sea ChronographPanerai 441And of course the RO 15400I have been back and forth on this decision and can't seem to decide as I find I like different aspects of each. However, nothing seems perfect to me.All these watch are roughly in the same price range after discounts; give or take 1K USD, with the JLC being the cheapest. Also, I doubt I could justify the Panerai as I think it costs too much for what it is. I jus

SD43 owners manual
As some of you might recall a week ago I picked up my new SD43 which I am over the moon with. One thing I did notice is that the owners manual says Sea-dweller 4000 on it. Odd I thought isn't that the old one. So I googled a few images and they seemed to confirm that the manual was the same. So I was happy Rolex hasn't sent me a manual out of the parts bins. Today I saw another photo of two for sale at grey dealers and the manual both just say Sea-Dweller. Is there a correct manual or is there a mix and it's pot luck what you get. Has anyone else noticed this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
