Eterna KonTiki Diver Watch Available: Be One Of The First To Own One
The Eterna KonTiki Diver was to be one of the first new Eterna watches to be officially sold in the US again. The wait was long. Years overdue, literally. We all sat and drooled over the pictures of the unique looking diver watch from Eterna that somehow appeared perfectly designed. I recall thinking to myself, "that watch has everything I think I would want in a diver watch." The legible face, subtle futuristic and confident looks, power reserve, rotating bezel, and sturdy case and construction!The initial price for the Eterna Kontiki that I read about really discouraged me. 10 grand?! Really?! That is expensive, and up there in Rolex Seadweller and Blancpain Fifty Fathoms territory, which are great watches, but I mostly like something that I know is rock solid and only enthusiasts can really appreciate. For Rolex you pay a lot for the name. That should not be an issue with Eterna at this time. I am pleased to say that is looks like street prices for the Eterna KonTiki Diver watch are

Hi guys sorry no pics ( to shy) but tried on the new carbon concept LE of 5 non numbered pieces, absolutely stunning yellow detail on dial, if any one has a picture please post. Also tried the titanium and RG Schumacher. Rose gold is very subtle on the wrist with the grey cermat dial and rubber strap

I know it's not to everyone's taste, but that's what makes collecting so enjoyable in many ways :) For my first post on the Patek forum, my Travel Time . . .and putting it good use with some travel next week. Patek in Manhattan helped me fit a strap and tighten the clasp to keep it comfortably on the wrist through airports, restaurants, office and hopefully a beach or two . .. HAGWE all!

Seadweller service and Michael Young
I took my seadweller (16600) to the RSC a couple of years to have the bezel insert changed. I was working local so left it with them to which they also changed the bar springs and cleaned the bracelet for free. I picked it up and paid and they had noted on the invoice that the bracelet should be replaced due to the stretch. I said I would think about it and ended up last year having Micheal Young repair it. The bracelet repair was brilliant, but I need to take it back to the RSC and get the watch service. Do you think as it recorded with them they will kick up about the repair or not notice. The cost of a new bracelet was about ��1700.
