Piaget Launches New Website
This autumn, Piaget is launching its new website featuring improved ease of use, enriched content and enhanced interactivity. The look is pared down and restrained. The site is equipped with the latest HMTL technologies for content management and speedy loading. The home page orders information hierarchically to invite a guided tour of the site’s clearly identified sections. The site presents the brand’s history and expertise, and the latest news section is regularly updated. Visitors enjoy direct access to the watch and jewelery collections. Each model can be viewed from various angles, or admired in a video. Mechanical hand-wound and automatic movements reveal their development and operating secrets, while the jewelery creations unveil their aesthetic features. Visitors can print the photos or send them to friends via a direct link, and an on-line catalog can also be consulted.Piaget’s boutique network can be viewed at a glance, and the search for a given point of s
Three On Three: Comparing Independent Watches Under $15,000
Three on Three has returned. In our first head-to-head-to-head comparison, we took a look at three of what we deemed to be the very finest in-house, manually wound dress watches on the planet. Today we move into a broader category, but one that is very dear to our collective heart here at HODINKEE – independent watchmaking. But even more interesting than the folks who craft an amazing piece of original horology and then charge you for it, like a Laurent Ferrier, Philippe Dufour, or Kari Voutilainen, there is a group of independents out there that make fantastic products with unique twists and don't ask for a ton of money. Today we are looking at three truly independent watches, each for under $15,000.Read on for a detailed analysis of the Sarpaneva K1, the Speake-Marin Serpent Calendar, and the Habring2 Jumping Second Pilot. The Sarpaneva K1 - By Kelly Jasper - 1 OF 118 A few weeks ago, when reviewing the Hublot 692 Bang, I mentioned that the watch

15300 advice needed.....
Hello all. I have the chance to get a g serial 15300 black dial in pretty much nos unpolished condition with all boxes and papers. It was sold in 2012 and sent to ap for third year warranty. Sellers bottom dollar is $11,500 usd. So my question is, with the recent jump in 15300 prices dose anyone expect a drop in value anytime soon or maybe prices to rise more? As these are getting harder to find in this condition do you think this is a sound deal? Thanks for your insight. Btw I know no one has a crystal ball and who knows what will happen, I'm just looking for your best guess.
Diver bezel discrepancy
Hey guys was trying to figure out why in some pictures, for example AP website, the ceramic diver bezel looks like the marker at 12 is half on the rotating portion and half off. If that makes sense. Please see the AP example with the half/half to me eye bezel And then what I think looks good, in this example a screenshot of fightonsc's diver. (Sorry for poaching your shot J, hope you don't mind) What am I missing here? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
