Wyler Tourbillon WT3: The First Poin?on du Jura Watch
Wyler Genve’s WT3 Tourbillon is the first timepiece to be produced under the new Poin?on du Jura quality label. To meet the Poin?on du Jura criteria, a movement must be 100% Swiss made, and at least 90% of the components must be made in the Jura C the heart of Switzerland's watchmaking industry. The movement must also be produced by a company that is independent from any watchmaking group. The plates and bridges for the skeletonized WT3 tourbillon movement are produced individually from blocks of raw material, with no mass production stamping involved. The WT3's flying tourbillon completes one rotation every 60 seconds from a balance operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and its manually-wound movement offers a 72-hour power reserve. The new WT3 models are available with the patented shock-absorbing Code-R case in matt black ceramic or 18-carat white gold. Inside this sandwich case, the movement is housed in a titanium container suspended on springs inside a carbon fiber frame
GIVEAWAY: Delma Santiago Blue Shark
Swiss Delma watches aren't known too well outside of Europe. They produce attractive, mid-range mechanical and quartz watches that include fun mechanical dive watches like the Santiago Blue Shark. A predominance of orange (versus blue) on the dial might have you take issue with the name, but it is nevertheless a diver to be reckoned with. At 47mm wide, the Santiago Blue Shark isn't a watch for lightweights. The all-steel case is water resistant to a depth of 3,000 meters.? The steel bezel comes in brushed steel or PVD black, and the crystal is sapphire. This deep diver contains a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement and retails for $2,196. You have a chance to win one this month on watches-dealer by following the simple instructions and entering below. To Enter You Must: 1. Incoming!!! First Omega and slightly excited.
So I have pulled the trigger on my first Omega. Always liked the look of their offerings but never took the time to really learn the line. My collection as it sits now is a 36mm DJ on an oyster, a DSSD classic black, a Nomos Orion, a Archimede bronze pilot and bronze diver, many Shinola offerings and a lot of G Shocks. My AD was having a tent sale and seeing as he is several hours away and I was busy today I had him send me some pics of what he thought I would like to add. He sent pics of this and a Tudor Advisor on leather. As I was able to get such a good price and the Crown and Buckle NATO thrown in for no charge I pulled the trigger. The original contrast stitch brown leather on a tang is also included. I know it is a Speedmaster and I know that I like it. Beyond that I would love to hear folks opinions and thoughts. Thanks for looking and more to come when it arrives. Thanks for looking and more to come when it arrives. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Incoming- Vintage Diver
I've always admired the Omega Seamaster 300 vintage diver. Today I was presented one during a trade- This Omega ended up on my wrist. Can't wait to find a nice shark bracelet..., Yes, it's old and worn, but I am always drawn to vintage divers from many makes...
Louis Rossel Rolex ?
Good morning all. I am a member of the Equation of Time Forum. We collect Rado watches along with a great variety of other Swiss watches.Recently we have been doing a lot of research on a little known Swiss brand from the 70's called Louis Rossel. As part of our research we came across a 3525 Rolex with Louis Rossel on the dial. We were intrigued so did some more research but cannot find any other 3525's marked in this way. The 'louis Rossel' Rolex seems wrong to me but we are not au fait enough to say for certain. The sub-dials look flat instead of impressed, the numbers above 12 dont follow the same pattern as other 3525's however they do have same pattern as another Rolex Model. The patina looks wrong. The movement doesnt look quite the same as other 3525's.So it could be a Franken, or a complete fake or absolutely genuine.I wonder if you could clarify this for me? . Your words of wisdom would be very much appreciated.
