Stienbeck Kamerawerk Camera Watch From 1949
Still in Japan now, but I need to keep up the blogging else my loyal readers may violently demand I continue to write. I miss being at the computer, no worries about long pauses in content. While on my trip a reader pointed out this eBay auction for an interesting piece of watch and photographic history. It is the Stienbeck Kamerawerk A-B-C Camera watch from 1949. A fully functional worn on the wrist made over 50 years ago. I will republish a bit from the auction details to give you some of the nuts and bolts of this interesting item the banks on our love of spy gear, watches, and what looks to be a bit of the ol' steampunk aesthetic.I would call it a spy camera watch, but it was not meant to look like a regular watch. Hublot King Power Red Devil Watch For Manchester United
For the third time the Swiss watch brand Hublot and the United Kingdom of Football Manchester United team are together for a special limited edition watch. The two have been in a long-standing partnership, and the fruits of their efforts should appeal to more just sports fans.
Any Omega Gemini IV (3565.80) owners out there?
Ive been eyeballing this piece for a while now. I realize there are only 2000 pieces out there. Any owners out there and any pics or comments you have about the watch........
5164 has to go. Big trade alert!
Some of you may know I can't help myself when it comes to flipping. I'm sad to say it's time for my 5164 to go. I can count the number of times on one hand that I've worn it and I will also be selling off most of my other watches to obtain a grail piece. What is this grail you ask? What if I told you I had found the perfect casual watch? I love jeans. Who doesn't love jeans? Possibly the only things better than jeans are diamonds and rose gold!Boom! I predict after sharing some quality snaps many will follow suit with me and flip for this casual masterpiece. Should be arriving momentarily via FedEx!
Took the plunge - new SD43
After weighing up the options, impatience got the better of me and I picked this up from a local non-AD yesterday. Extremely pleased with it!
