Watch shopping on vacation
So it got a little hot and decided to see if I could oil the wheels of the economy a bit.. while looking for something for my wife, I came across THE Ti.. I was very pleased to feel how soft the strap was compared to my RG 44. Here are some pics The Patek guy was trying hard to sell me this one..
Omega Speedmaster Strap
I really love the strap on the Omega Speedmaster in the attached link. Does anyone know where to get a similar one to this? I've found plenty of cheap ones that look cheap..ablogtowatch/omega-sp...atch-review/2/
Tax return money was burning a hole
in my pocket, so I treated myself to something new-to-me. I'd like a red one also, but that will have to wait.GH
Are you a strap addict?
So I've been spending way too much time looking at straps lately. The last time this happened a few years ago, I ended up with a box full of straps and even more Panerais (you of course need more watches when you have so many straps! ). It took me 4 months to purge all the straps (and most of my PAMs). Fortunately I caught myself and came to my senses last night after I ordered my third strap this week. I won't fall into that expensive trap again. You can buy a new Rolex on what some of us have spent on straps! So how many is too many? Does 5 straps per size seem reasonable?
New Rolex Gainin 6s/day
I have own several Rolex watches and they have always been max +1 second/day accuracy. A half year ago i bought datejust and i gained +2 s, now after half year is +6. So have Rolex change some accuracy policy ?
