Just wanted to know if this 15407 Royal Oak Skeleton is limited or not? I'm seeing the retail at 44K yet everyone wants over 50k for it. Is it because this is limited production or because its so new? I'm looking to pick one up but not or retail or a dollar over retail.
amiricanmade - clarification, and my new first Ap
Hey everyone. i posted here a few days back in regards to my first AP which i was trying to purchase from a fellow member here, felt like i am being rushed in to the deal and asked for opinion, in return the seller came on the post and started to tell his side of the story, one thing led to another and i went and bought the Skydweller instead. a few days and a few txt later Amir and i decided to meet ( not in the dark ally i was trying to meet with him to first time) we met at Westime on sunset blvd where Raffi the manager took a look at the watch and told me there is nothing to worry about and to go on with purchase. the whole time Amir was offering everything possible to make me feel more comfortable about the purchase. making a long story short i came back home with a new AP and despite thinking my girlfriend will do splits in bed tonight after giving her the watch, i ended up sleeping on the couch for buying more stupid watches... bottom line - well worth it
where to purchase
any help on where to purchase would be appreciated.I am looking at speedmaster moonwatch chronograph.thanks
GMT IIC 126710BLRO vs 116710LN
I was curious to compare the differences between the case design of the new 126710BLRO vs the 116710LN.So I did some photoshopping to compare the two watches.Images are taken straight from Rolex and were not resized when I created the overlays. I would venture out and say that I can see how the BLRO lugs are a tiny bit narrower but that is really not much in my opinion.GMT COMP_Summary.pngSince I was at it, I also made a mockup of what I believe will become the 126710LN next year or the following. Stressed: Heritage BB In House or ETA
I've spent the last 4 hours reading countless forums and answers (some even posted on TRF) and I'm still torn. What would you Rolex vets choose, the in house or ETA? I don't want to say I'm a movement SNOB but I do like knowing that I have some in house, custom to that specific watch but at the same time I heard the in house variant is quite a bit thicker (can I get confirmation from someone who handled both?). I don't care about how expensive the servicing costs MIGHT BE down the line, I prefer the in house face but ETA is fine too. The look is not a deal breaker for me. Some complain about the rivets but that doesn't apply as I will be going with the strap. Simply put, what is the superior, what is the preferred, what would YOU get between the two? I do know that the new one has 70+ hour power reserve and more anti-magnetic properties.
