Last week we took a look at the new Orient Mako USA, Orient's reimagining of one of their most popular entry-level divers. At $225, the Mako USA��which comes updated with some higher-end specs��offers some serious bang-for-your-buck value. The comments section for that review understandably brought up comparisons to the SKX007, Seiko's flagship diver and probably the most iconic affordable dive watch currently on the market. So it got us thinking, does the new and improved Mako rival the venerable SKX007?Now, I'm sure you're thinking that it's not exactly a fair comparison. After all, the SKX007 is considerably cheaper, readily available for approximately $160 (the made in Japan version is considerably more) on either a rubber or a stainless steel bracelet. But if you take into account that an aftermarket bracelet with solid end links tacks on another $60, give or take, then the two watches line up in terms of monetary value. I you had a choice between these two, Which One Would You Pick!?!?!?
Hey all,I'm thinking of pulling the trigger tomorrow but im torn between these two.the AP limited Legacy, or the rose gold rubber clad.. the Legacy is MSRP 47k and the RG Roo is MSRP 55k, but I could prob get the RG Roo for the around the same price as the legacy, off the disscounted Legacy price which I have not listed.. so it seems the RG is a better bang for the buck, but I don't want to pull the trigger just based on that reason alone..let me know what you all think?

What got you interested in Breitling?

Busy week...
I'd decided a couple of weeks ago that I really wanted a Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial after having visited them in a boutique. I thought I really wanted the Spectre, but had sort of talked myself out of it, trying to say it didn't justify the extra cost/etc.I was really digging the Titanium model on bracelet, and decided that was the one for me. I had a lot of trouble finding one, and was finally able to secure one. Paid on Monday, this arrived on Tuesday:It's sweet. The Ti is light, yes, but the bezel and movement add some weight to it. It's really hard to capture the blue in pictures...and it changes depending on the light. I actually don't mind the PCL's like I thought I would. Seems to be just about right on this particular model.So, what's done is done...right?Well...After getting it, just like a cheating bastard I kept thinking damn...what if I had gotten the Spectre? I was second-guessing myself and wondering if I settled instead of just getting what I wanted in the first place
