Watches NEWS
What AP are you wearing this Friday???
I gave my Diver a well deserved rest and I'm wearing the first of the ROOs. I missed wearing this baby but the battle scars on it are way too many and while it's quite bothersome I still love it. My true grail!!! BTW it's amazing how much smaller it wears compared to the Diver. Just want to say 'Hi'
Hi everyone I have just joined up the forum recently and posted a few times, but I thought I'd like to say hello to everyone properly.I originally seeked out TRF as I was looking into possibly getting a Rolex in the future, but since I have got my NOS Omega Dynamic something happened.......it's almost like a relationship lol. There is something intriguing and understating about Omega, the design, the history, I don't really know what it is exactly but there you are.So I ended up visiting mostly here at the Omega section of the TRF and I just ant to thank everyone for your helpfulness and friendliness, esp. Rommel (aka RW16610) who has been my Omega mentor Hope to learn more from everyone!
Daily Wear Tudor dilemma
Has anyone else experience a similar dilemmaFor some time I've been looking a round for daily wear such as a beaten up 70's Tudor sub 90910 or similar, I had a tip off that a watch maker had potentially one that was up for grabs, the case was described as battered with nick scratches and minus its strap, bezel missing and crystal scratched to kingdom come and the movement wasn't functioning. I gave the watch maker a call and after a few sentences the conversation turned to what I owned, how long had I been collecting etc I gave a brief rundown and tried to get the conversation back on track, long story short the watchmaker was intending to use the Tudor as a donor watch for spares unless I wanted to sell or part exchange one of my watches as a sweetener, I inquired how much he valued the beaten up Tudor at..... 1,800, I thanked him for his time and said id give it some thought.....I think it may have been all of 2 seconds ???? so there you have it just what I was looking for and yet
Bracelet clasp question (seems broken)
It has been quite a while since the last time I had posted in this forum. I have a question regarding my 116520 (Random serial) bracelet clasp. At a glance from the top it looks that the clasp is slanted. When I was looking at it at the opened clasped, the clasped fold back lifted out from the main clasp. I have some photos to describe the issue. Has anyone had similar issues?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
