Avenir Chrono Boss Premiere Watches
When Avenir Chrono's people were telling me about their new Boss Premiere line of watches (seen here), they mentioned a host of celebrities who were known to wear or own the watches. The funny thing was that I'd never heard of all but one of the people they mentioned. This rather amused me. I was first curious as to what portion of the pop culture demographic they were referring to (later I learned it was mostly people in the hip hop community), and then I was curious as to just how "out of it" I am when it comes to pop culture. Granted, I don't keep up much with the hip hop crowd, and of course less as to what they are wearing. Maybe because they have a reputation for being on distasteful side of "bling" to often (i.e. most of the Jacob & Co. produces). But watches like this Avenir Chrono don't phase me that way. Could AP have not made the RO bracelet more comfortable? & Incoming
I have just received my new blue dial 15400. The finish of the watch has left me speechles. I have seen so many pictures of the watch but after taking off the plastics the finishing is just so perfect. It puts my daytona to shame. I really didnt care about scratching my daytona even after I first bought it. But this, man Im going to get hurt when I see the first scratch on the case.I love how the blue dial looks under the sun as well as in doors. Such a difference. Such a wide range of colors the dial takes. Now the bracelet, although not as comfortable imo as the daytona it is a confortable bracelet. My only issue is the sharpness of the bracelet along its length. The outer of the bracelet is chamfered but the inside that is in contact with the skin is not. I like wearing my watches a bit loose and I feel my skin gets scratched as the watch moves on my wrist. Which gets uncomfortable with time. I cant imagine wearing the gold heavier bracelet. Hello all would like you guys opinions on this watch with a blue or black dial?I personally think the black dial really makes the white gold bezel stand out more but theres something about the blue? What one would you guys go for?Also the prices in uk are very high right now do you think they will come down in the next year or 2 on grey market? As its way above retail?
