Watches NEWS
Close-Up: Cartier Calibre de Cartier Diver
Of all the watches that debuted at last year’s SIHH watch fair in Geneva, perhaps the one I least expected was a dive watch from Cartier. And it turned out to be one of the coolest new watches in recent years. In this article from my blog, Watch-Insider, I give you the scoop on Cartier’s foray into the world of “real” sports watches. The Cartier Calibre de Cartier Diver is an unmistakably masculine watch for both everyday wear and extreme conditions; it meets the challenge of combining the classical Cartier style with the technical requirements necessary to be considered a true divers’ watch under the international standard ISO 6425. To meet this standard, the watch must meet eight criteria for reliability and pass a series of extremely rigorous tests.Cartier Calibre de Cartier Diver in steel (above) and rose gold (below)For those who are unfamiliar with the ISO standard, these are the main criteria:Unidirectional turning bezelTo prevent any accidental rota
Blue dials
Just wondering what, if any, difference between the blue dials of the 15300, 15400 and the current 15202. Are they the same? If not what's the difference? Anyone have a shot of all 3 side by side?

DJ41 jubilee clasp micro adjustment.
Hi all, new member here but have been lurking for the past few months. I was recently given a DJ41 for my 30th Birthday and just had a couple of questions in regards to the micro clasp adjustments for the jubilee band. I have searched but Haven't managed to find the answer I'm looking for (what's the official name for the 3 set of holes anyway?). Anyway in regards to adjustment how big/smaller does each set of holes make the watch? In comparison to a standard jubilee link, is it 1/4 or 1/2 link? They are currently set on the middle set of holes. Watch is tight but only gets uncomfortable when hot. If I open the easy link then it's a little big and ends up moving up and down on my wrist. Hope that makes sense. Thank you for any input.
Curious about sales numbers for each model
Hi folks,This is the first thread I've ever started, so please be gentle. In reading all the different threads and comments about limited availability for various steel professional models, I became curious about what the total sales figures might be on a model by model basis.I'm not referring to a dollar value amount, but a total number of units per year.I'm sure that this information isn't readily available from Rolex, but maybe some of you know or are affiliated with an AD or a trusted seller here that would have these numbers.Being located in Toronto these days, of particular interest to me would be to know what numbers of each model were sold last year in a typical large city in the US or Canada, or even out of a typically-sized AD...Thanks and I hope this proves to be of interest to folks on here.
