Why SIHH 2016 Watch Trade Show Grows To 24 Participating Brands Including Major Independent Watchmakers
"Carr des Horlogers" is going to be the new buzzword for those in the watch industry early in 2016, as the new iteration of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) makes a major move to incorporate nine fresh names into their roster of luxury watch makers. Up until now, SIHH has included mostly brands that exist under the aegis of The Richemont Group. Why did this happen? What does this mean for the watch industry, and is it good news for consumers? The politics and economics behind this situation are actually relatively complicated, but I am pleased with the Foundation de la Haute Horlogerie's ("FHH," a third-party entity set up mostly by Richemont to organize SIHH among other things) decision to bring nine small but important independent watch companies under their umbrella of exhibitors. In many ways, I feel that this is a positive sign of mutual effort and solidarity in the Swiss watch industry - a practice that has actually been a key component of their success for g
Dblue for The Beast (25721)
Hi All,Simple proposition. Trade my DBlue + a little cash for an E serial 25721 aka 'The Beast'. I know this is not a widely seen model (even with the newly announced tribute version)I do have a newer 44 titanium (264001) and do love the versatility of the Dblue...but am thinking of switching things up a little.Opinions are welcome and appreciated !

Omega Service Question
I just purchased a new PO from an AD. The watch is running +4.5sec /day which as you all know is within COSC specs. If I have my local watch maker regulate it, the warranty will be voided. I contacted my local Omega AD about getting it regulated and their reply was : As an Authorized Dealer of Omega, we can send your Planet Ocean in to Omega for a service under warranty. Omega does not authorize any in-house watch makers for warranty service. There will be no charge, I will however need the warranty card and it will take 6-8 weeks to complete. The Planet Ocean is Chronometer Certified and this means that the time keeping needs to fall within a specific daily rate. That rate is -4 seconds to +6 seconds a day. This means that your timepiece is working within the Chronometer Certified range so I cannot guarantee that sending it in to Omega for regulation will change your daily rate significantly.Does anyone here have experience sending a watch to Omega for regulating? I know the 850
