MB&F HM2 Black & Red SV Final Edition Watches
The MB&F Horological Machine Number 2 has enjoyed a really rich life. The 'wrist rectangle' is now going into its final limited edition production with two new models. These are the HM2 Black SV and Red SV. "SV" stands for Sapphire Vision, and are related to the original HM2 Sapphire Vision watch that I discussed here - and had a real-life image of here. The whole point of the Sapphire Vision watch was the massive sapphire crystal that made up the front plate of the piece. The crystals were ungodly expensive to make and a tortuous trial in patience as many would break in the manufacturing process. One you make the crystal and it is stable, they are relatively strong, but the weakness is in making them. Now MB&F revisits the SV concept with these two new, slightly more showy models. Question about the GMT and Diver bezels
Please bear with me, I've never owned a watch with a rotating bezel before.I've searched and read a number of threads about loose bezels, wobbly bezels, bezels that pop off easily, bezels that are misaligned, bezels that spin too easily and bezels with play in them. So, let me be clear on what I have noticed with my new Seamaster GMT. First, here is what seems to be right with the bezel:It does not want to pop off; It's not misaligned; It's not loose nor does it spin easily; It clicks sharply as it is rotated; It does not wobble; It does not seem to want to lift up or pull away from the case easily; It seems to fit tightly on the case;It seems perfect except as noted below. So, here's what I've discovered. With the 24:00 hr bezel marker set exactly at 12 o'clock and holding the case in my left hand, if I place the tip of my right index finger at the 24:00 hr marker and tip of my right thumb at the 12:00 hr marker and apply pressure fore and aft, the bezel moves very, very slightly fore and

This is the 49mm manual wind....its big! It truly is a beautiful watch. Had planned on getting the 42mm but the AD mistakingly had the 39mm brought in. I though the 39mm was to small and after trying the XXL on had to have it!Watches 001.jpgWatches 005.jpgWatches 010.jpgWatches 008.jpg
