Helium release valve question.
guys I just wonder at the working of the screw helium escape valve in Omega watches...when one has to go for immersion(spelling!) diving where this valve is used, which one of the following three options has to be taken:1). do you start the dive with the valve screwed out and keep it that way all during the diveor2). screw it out in the water when you have to resurface, half way in the diveor3). keep it screwed all during the dive and uncrew it out of water to let gas built up be released.thnx for the help

Best Entry Level Platinum Leather Strap Patek?
Hey All,Im looking to get a leather strap Patek in the next 6months and was wondering what you thought was the best option in the 30-50k range? Ive looked at 5146p which is around 46k used... as well as 5056p which is 36k used... any other options? Im looking to Platinum as I have a Rose Gold DD2 so looking for something different to Gold.. and I think it'd be pretty neat to have my 1 and only Patek be in Platinum! Land, land, sea and air (and a dilemma)
My AD has been good to me this last 18 months or so. And, for the first time ever, I'm happy with my little collection and don't want for anything. I tried on the new SD43 recently and I'll probably add that at some point (but I'm not falling over myself to get it), as well as some kind of Submariner (no collection is complete without a Sub, right?)But as we head into Christmas and I have to think about buying things for other people for a change (shock, horror), I'll have to tighten the purse strings and resist any further temptation this 2017...The only slight issue I have now, is that I regularly can't decide which watch to wear, as I really enjoy them all! Still, not a bad problem to have, I suppose :)
