Over Sized, Over-BLANK... Overkill!
This article should benefit your perception of media and advertising. Today I take issue with use of terms such as "over sized, over stuffed, over...anything." They make me angry! And I'd like you to feel the same way anytime you see or hear them.I recall a few years ago looking to purchase a new comforter for my bed. I kept seeing the same thing time after time, "over stuffed" with goose down. I had no idea what this meant. Is there some governing body of "Sizes and Stuffing Standards" that dictates how much things ought to be stuffed or sized? Where these pioneering comforter makers ruthlessly defying such standards by putting just a bit too much in the offending comforter? Resulting in the dreadful "overstuffed" label? Oh for shame, rebellious maker of over stuffed goods. Whatever will the consumer think with their bedding on the verge of explosion? 2016 Aqua Terra...purchase help pls
Hi all...I'd appreciate some feedback. I was in to a local watch AD, they sell Rolex and Omega. They have a 2016 Aqua Terra in 41.5 and 38.5 and they have been sitting there, in the display case, for a nice while now. I have been looking at getting a Rolex's but I was wondering if I decided to buy the 2016 Aqua Terra , as I do like it's look, what do you think would be a reasonable discount on a watch like this that has been sitting in the display case for over a year?Actauuly the AD rep seemed to indicate, in our chat, that the Omega's were moving very slowly!Thanks for all replies

Would Patek change the dial on my 5205G?
I have just returned my 5205G back to Patek for them to carry out some warranty work. Basically the DAY pusher is sticking in when pushed and so the day doesn't change over, unless you then manually wind the watch past midnight. When that happens the pusher then springs back out.Anyway, back to the question.While the watch is with them at the UK service centre, if asked, do you think they would exchange the darker dial & W/G silver hands for the lighter dial and the darker hands, which I believe are still made from W/G, but somehow treated to make them darker in colour?And if they do any idea what they would charge?Thank you.RegardsTony
