Concord C1 MecaTech Chronograph
The Concord C1 MecaTech chronograph presents a study in multi-level dial complexity. Every square millimeter offers a line, a texture, a non-traditional display, or a new elevation. The two-tone black PVD and rose gold case measuring 44mm x 16.7mm creates the impression of bank-vault security. A matte-black grid in the center of the dial provides the base for the arrow pointers that rest above the turning disks of the 30 minute and 12 hour counters. The COSC-certified ETA Valgranges chronograph movement is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The movement features a black rotor and C?tes de Gen��ve decoration. The 25 jewel movement beats at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 48 hours. First time poster here. Appreciate all the messages and wanted some advice. Currently own 5711 blue dial and really like the look of the new 5396G-014 but I had a question - my AD said he's probably getting one in the fall that he could hold for me but it doesn't seem like this is a limited edition and shouldn't be hard to get. Do you think it's wise to go for it or, if it's not limited edition, is it better to wait and get one later pre-owned at a significant discount?DG

Is it just me or has there been a general decline in Panerai luster?
Not sure if it's been just me no longer having my 312 from before and not following the Panerai board as much as I used to, but surfing through the thread here and there - I've noticed that there's been a decline in Panerai interest or allure. Especially with SIHH 2013 with lackluster showing, it seems like the allure nowadays is nowhere near what I felt it was 2-3 years ago.What's the consensus? Am I totally way off base?Thanks!

Bracelet questions
I have asked this before but did not get much response. Does anyone have an experience with someone in the US. That does DJ and DD bracelet repair (tightening) and polishing? Any input would be much appreciated.
