Was thinking of selling my 1990 Pepsi bezel GMT master and maybe getting the new and updated version BLNR in steel with new bracelet and ceramic bezel?Any thoughts on either way on doing this?Thanks,Dave

Second watch the hardest?
Well here’s the problem. Bought an Explorer over a year ago and love it. When I tried it on for the first time I knew straight away that I wanted it. Now I’m looking for my second watch and it’s oroving difficult!Been all over the place. Thought about saving for a Patek 5196 but decided it probably wouldn’t stand up to daily wear. Currently tossing up between a Datejust 126334 (Fluted, Jubilee, silver dial) and a Sub 114060. I tend towards the more formal so like the size of the DJ but it does wear similarly to my Explorer. The Sub feels HUGE, but maybe I’m just used to a 39mm watch?Everyone has something different they’re looking at in a watch. For me I love that a Rolex will last forever. Probably the main thing I think of is being able to pass a watch down to my newborn twin boys. So, any thoughts on these two?Cheersps. Should I buy Sub red 1978?
I have the opportunity to buy my friends submariner red text. The only issue is it has no original papers. It's well looked after and is stunning and wants a fair/ cheap price for it. I have the serial number, can I check the validity of it and should I buy it? I'm worried with no paperwork about it being just an older rolex with a replacement dial?
