Finally
it took me a while but finally got the one I wanted. got my first ROO 4 yrs ago and after saving enough bought this beauty yesterday. I was deciding between the Alinghi and the Grand Prix carbon. the GP was more money so I pulled the trigger on this one. thank you GOD.
Dark Side of the Moon Collection (Live Images)
Okay, so admittedly I wasn't overly compelled to look at the new white side of the moon, which looks a bit weird in my honest opinion, during Basel this year. But Omega may have pulled it out of the hat with the new DSotM Collection, which I think look pretty darned cool! Thoughts? You can read my thoughts here
My new free Patek 5712
And the VERY expensive tie (and loupe) I had to buy to get it. Thanks for everyone's help and advice over the past 6 months or so. This beauty was the eventual winner over a number of contenders from Rolex, AP, and Patek. A gift to myself for my 40th. Patek just seemed appropriate!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Will the 690 return?
I understand the 690 was limited to 500 pieces at it’s release. Is there historical precedence that Panerai always keeps to their number? Could more be released? I know it’s a tough question, as only Panerai execs could probably answer, but its still on the website. What are your thoughts?
Why does Panerai needs servicing way more often than Rolex?
I noticed on my Pam 90 it says I should get it serviced every 2 years. The Rolex Submariner has a much longer time spread until servicing is required. How come?
