Casio Dee & Ricky G-Shock GA110DR-1A Watch
When I first learned about this new Dee & Ricky limited edition G-Shock watches, I was like WTF?! Not that I would wear it, but I can appreciate the culture that created it. The watch design really started in the 1980s, though the designs may not be aware of that. It was the time of Lego and bright colors, and when wearing wild hues was fashionable until the mid 1990s (when thankfully florescent colors went out). The lineage of the style also is related to 8 bit gaming. Nintendo brought bright colors before our eyes on a daily basis in blocky glory. This watch is the summation of an entire pop culture generation. Nerds with focus, geeks with passion.? Designers Dee & Ricky are New York born twins who are self taught and highly inspired by their youth. If this watch is at all questionable to you, then simply view the video they made below with direct and video artist Kenzo Digital (which will appeal to all Lego and G-Shock fans). So I went back to the boutique to see the 5170G black dial. Been mulling over between the 5170G and 5070G. Well they had the 5270 Blue dial, which I never saw before. I admit to not being particularly enamored by the 5270 models beforehand (especially el chino) but I must say the new blue dial is really sweet. Great case too.IMG_2088 (1).jpg

Prices Daytona gray market
Gray dealers are selling the Daytona 116520 unworn series V (2009) and G (2010) At the same price I saw an 116500 of July 2006. They are all 50% above the official price. But I thought that the new ceracrom model should be quoted more.Can the previous one have a higher quote? Apart the V and G are outside the official warranty.
