Are Royal Oak (not Offshore) WR Ratings Conservative?
Hi All,Thinking of getting onto the Royal Oak bandwagon and wondering if AP are like Rolex in that their watches can handle depths much greater than what they were rated for? or if their WR Ratings are really the max you should take them to? OR if they shouldn't get wet at all?I'm the kind of guy who doesn't want to think about watches when I go about my day whether I'm at the gym, surfing, rock climbing etc.Looking particularly at either a 15300ST or the 15450STThanks all!
AP 2121: accuracy, power reserve, quirks?
Not too long ago I posed the question: What is everyone's general experience with AP's accuracy, specifically the 3120 movement in the AP 15400 and Divers?Since then, I have fallen in love with the Jumbo. So, I want to pose the question, what about in the AP 2121 that is in the 15202: how is the accuracy? how is the power reserve, do you get the full 40 hours? any known quirks (sticky date, etc.)? is it a tougher movement? This watch will be reserved for weekend wear, as I have my BLNR and Speedy Pro for during the week wear, so it's not something that'll be banged around or have to put up with daily wear and tear, if that matters at all. Thanks!

Interesting watch dial color variation
I visited OC Tanner yesterday in Salt Lake City prior to attending the G3 concert downtown. Like other ADs, they had few sports models, however, I noticed the Explorer I they had in the display case had a very light black, almost gray dial. When I compared it to the Sub on my wrist, it did indeed look almost gray. I apologize that I didn't take any photos for comparison, but has anyone else noticed distinct color variations in black dials?
