Watch Spotting: Roger Smith Wearing A Vintage Omega Seamaster Chronograph At The Screening Of The Wa
Last night at Tribeca Cinemas in New York City, we were proud to attend the NY premiere of David Armstrong's The Watchmaker's Apprentice. The documentary film, shot in very last days of master watchmaker George Daniels' life, goes on to tells us not only of Daniels' contributions to horology, but also his relationship with his one and only true apprentice – Mr. Roger Smith. We'll have a recap of last night's events shortly, but first, we wanted to tell you what Roger Smith, arguably one of the finest watchmakers alive, was wearing. It might surprise you. 1 OF 1 One might assume Mr. Smith would be wearing one of his own watches – maybe a Series 2 or a Daniels Anniversary watch? Not so. You see, Mr. Smith's workshop of eight people (himself plus seven watchmakers) produces just 10 watches per year. Ten. Buying my first AP
Hi everyone. I am about to buy my first AP for my wedding which is in June. My two options are the Diver or the ROO Black Red / Vampire / Red Panda. I am very confused. I know about the price difference but this will be once in a lifetime purchase for my wedding. Please do advice. I do not really mind if the ROO black red is a much better watch and better looking than the diver. I need your opinions please. Thank uThis is a picture to compare. Thanks. I have till next week to decide. Any input is appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Currently a two Omega PO owner- looking for a 3rd
I have currently have two omega PO's, the 2500 orange on orange and the 8500 in the pic. I am looking at the Aqua Terra 41.5.Anyone that owns it, can you comment on how it fits, i.e., big, small, heavy...I am specifically looking at the Ryder Cup, captain's model with the blue hands, red writing, silver dial, if anyone has that one and cares to share a pic or two.Any input is greatly appreciated.
5205 silver dial question?
A question for all 5205-001 (silver dial) owners. Does the dial look silver and shining or rather matt and grey most of the time? The photos show very grey looking dial and I don't see much sparkle in it. Is this the case in reality? I looked at both at my AD and attach the photo here. However, the watch was sealed in plastic and it is hard to tell since plastic is only semi transparent. Thanks a lot for your feed back!
