LUM-TEC Combat F1 Concept Watch
The upmarket-ification of "America's son" watchmaker LUM-TEC may continue in full force. Some of you have expressed sadness that the brand is producing many timepieces outside of their original pricing a few years ago. It is true that the mean price for LUM-TEC watches is going up. It also true that LUM-TEC quality and watch features are also increasing. Most any "young" watch maker can't really do everything they want the first time around. Through subsequent successes LUM-TEC has been able to afford more quality components and fancy movements and materials for their watches. The result are timepieces that are closer to the dreams of the owners. In time I believe that LUM-TEC will offer a full range of watches from very reasonably priced entry level models to high-end durable watches that are "up to any task" and still look great in the process. One example of a potential future watch for LUM-TEC is this pictured Combat F1 concept watch. It reminds me of an updated Marathon GSAR watch
FC and Watch movement
Hi Folks, anyone knows in detail how does the movement of the 44mm FC gets attached to the casing ? Is it via old school method of a screwing in the movement or through some other process ? Have always been curious especially now we see ceramics/carbon fibre/sapphire crystal being used as watch cases.thank you wilson
Dial swap on 15300?
So just wondering if I have a 15300 and I wanted to swap the dial (say from silver to black or blue) would Clearwater do this for me at service time? If so how much? Thanks all
40th anniversary moonwatch
Hi I am an omega nut, I have 3 at the moment. 1 planet ocean, 1 planet ocean chrono with the orange bezel and I just picked up my new (for Christmas present ) gold/s/s broad arrow speedmaster with brown dial and gold accents. My question is this:-for my next Omega I am considering the 40th anniversary moonwatch. Do you think that this Speedmaster special edition watch is a good investment at 3500. (I can get 10% discount of this price) do you think it will increase in value at all over the years? Any thoughts welcome about this watch. Thanks and happy and holidays everyone.

I have an AT chrono. What position does should the crown be in when self winding and what direction (clockwise vs counter) should it be wound? How often should it be wound and how many times do you guys recommend winding it? Thanks in dvance for the help.
