Introducing The Urwerk EMC: The First Mechanical Watch With Artifical Intelligence, Capable of Being
In Urwerk's never-ending mission to produce some of the most interesting and genre-bending mechanical watches on the planet, we now present you with the EMC, or Electro Mechanical Control.? We showed you the movement to the EMC here back at Basel, but now the watch has been unveiled, and it's a doozy.? The EMC is "the world's first precision mechanical watch in which the timing can be monitored and adjusted by the user, on the fly - essentially? It's interactive. 2 OF 6 So what does this mean specifically? Well the watchmaker's best friend is a device called a Witschi, which listens to the rhythm of the balance and displays the performance of the movement, how much a movement gains or loses in 24 hours.? The EMC essentially has a Witschi built into it (electronic, though manually wound!) so that the wearer sees how his was his running.? And, the EMC offers the wearer to adjust the watch on the fly to keep chronometric performance at its peak. 3 OF 6 EMC feat

AP Diver weight ok for daily use?
So I just got a brand new SS Diver that I love from DavidSW. I planned on making the Diver my new daily wear but I'm finding that at work I keep taking it off and leaving it on my desk. I'm thinking the weight may be a little too much for me. Has anyone else found this to be the case with a Stainless Steel AP? Does anyone know a website online that shows the various weights for each AP model? I'm thinking I need to consult a reference for the weight in my future watch purchases. I'm thinking I should sell this for the FC version. BTW, Here is a pic of the new watch (yep it still has the stickers).
Speedmaster dilemma
Hoping to solicit opinions on my dilemma. I am 99% set on a speedmaster and have it narrowed down to 1. Original Moonwatch. 2. White dial racing speedmaster, 44mm3. 57 speedmasterMy thoughts so far are1. First Omega, start with an icon. Size is pretty perfect.2. Never had a manual wind, not sure how I good I would be at remembering to wind3. Racing 44mm pictured below if I figured out how to attach them, is about at or beyond the upper size limits for me, though my picture is bad. I wasn't planning on posting them. In the metal, this made my heart beat fastest however and if it was 40 or 42 mm I would already own it.4. Automatic movement and date function are pros for me, as well as increased durability with Crystal, ceramic, etc5. Love the throwback but haven't seen it in the metal. I have two vintage Rolex, a 16800 sub and 1655 explorer ii so I love patina, not sure how I feel about the faux patina look however.6. The white dial 40 mm racing speedmaster variants do not do it for
Over Wound??
I have left my watch at home while I was away for the week. I came home today and I saw that my watch was still running. Amazed that it was still running after 4 days I told my pops. He then broke the news that he took it out to wear it a few times. Then I thought about keeping it running, so I gave it one turn and the clicks were extremely loud. Does that just mean that my pops over wound my watch??
