Peter Speake\Marin’s New Marin 2 Mk 1 “Thalassa”
It is rare for one man to design every component of a watch's case, dial and movement. Peter Speake-Marin’s new Thalassa is such a watch. The harmonious design incorporates Peter’s trademark elements, and so is instantly recognizable as his. The blued\steel of the outer dial, hands and seconds wheel create a nautical ambiance which inspired the name “Thalassa”, a sea goddess from Greek mythology and the personification of the Mediterranean Sea. The case is Peter’s iconic “Piccadilly” design, rendered in 18K white gold. The basic shape was inspired by the cases used to house prototype movements Peter worked with early in his career. The lugs assure a solid connection to the case, with a screwed solid stainless steel bar attaching the strap to the lugs. You may enlarge the images with a click.Inside resides the s
Introducing: The New Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer, Now With Chromalight Display, Updated Hands, A
With habitual punctuality, Rolex unveiled their entire 2016 lineup on Press Day at exactly 12 p.m. As ever, it features many of the company’s classic models, updated with novel features. However, they also introduced some big surprises, such as a stainless steel Daytona with black ceramic bezel and an Oyster Perpetual Explorer with Chomalight display. 1 OF 3 The watch pictured above here is not a customized Rolex. Far from it. It's the latest Explorer which now comes with a new luminescent material inside the model’s familiar 3, 6, and 9 numerals as well as in the hour markers. Called Chromalight, this exclusive material emits an intense blue glow, which increases the legibility of the dial significantly in low light conditions. 2 OF 3 Rolex has also revisited the hour and minute hands. They are broader and longer than in previous models. The case is otherwise unchanged. Made in 904L steel, it measures a cool 39 mm. Inside, the watch houses c
Crown problem .
AP owner, is crown problem is a common for AP watches ?So far I had 3 AP watches that has the same problem .. crown. The Crown, you can keep winding it after adjust the time and cant be locked.Happened to my previous GP, RG and my new GP. Never had any problems with other my other brands, and also I hardly wore these watches since I always rotate my watches on the weekend wear only.I asked AP Clearwater and they never can give me the answer.
Today I got a huge package
That contains this little great box. This one will be interested to take a closer look at.There was two huge books too.I come back with my impression when I looked through the material.
