Watches NEWS
Giveaway: Marvin M107 or M103 Automatic Chronograph Watch
I am very excited to bring you a special watch giveaway here at aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. This month you can enter to win your choice of either of the above two mechanical chronograph watches from Swiss Marvin watches. These are the Marvin M107 (in the rectangular case), and the M103 (in the round case). I actually reviewed the M103 here - and it is really a great watch. I wanted to offer either of them because they have same Swiss Valjoux 7750 automatic movement inside, and are very close in price. It is up to the winner watch model he/she prefers. What more can I say? These are two excellent timepieces, with a movement that no watch lover should be without in their collection. The Marvin M107 retails for $1,860, and the Marvin M103 retails for $1,790. I anticipate this being a popular giveaway, so enter below with your best response. To Enter You Must: 1. AT 38.5mm pic request
Hi guys.I was just wondering if any of you have wrist shots of a 8500 AT midsize on anything close to a 7.25 inch wrist.I'm about a hairs breadth away from taking the plunge but, since I live in a remote location miles from an AD, I'm considering my first ever Internet watch purchase. I've seen and handled the 42mm in the steel and liked the finish but not the size/proportions so it would be great to see a 38.5mm on a similarly sized wrist to mine. Here's a pic of my sub to give you some sense of the scale of it on my wrist...
A special week

How infrequently do you have to wear a watch before its time to let it go?
My explorer gets worn maybe once every two weeks and that's generally because I feel bad that I'm not wearing it more. Of the watches that aren't gifts, sentimental, etc...how infrequently do you have to wear a watch before you decide it's time to let it go?
