First Lux Watch & Breitling - Superocean II 44 Black!
I just received my new Breitling Superocean II 44 Black just yesterday. This is my first luxury watch purchase after owning Movado, Timex, Uniform Wares in the past. I did a lot of research and wanted a dive watch. Initially, I purchased a new Tudor Pelagos from a seller here and the watch had a faulty in-house movement. I was really quite disappointed, although I was promptly refunded which eased the pain a bit. After being refunded, I thought, it's time to save for a Rolex Submariner. However, one thing bothered me...my 40mm watches look slightly undersized on my wrist. I continued to save for the Sub. Then I stumbled backwards upon the Superocean II 44 in Black and began to look at images online. There's really not that many great photos out there, not a ton of instragram posts with this one...but I really liked the few that I saw. I pulled the trigger earlier this week with Alfred (FNFZ4), who was wonderful to deal with and just received the watch yesterday. It looks so good in per

Decision made = INCOMING! (pics!)
After some serious consideration, and equal desire between the Pam 233 and the DSOTM, I made a decision and want to share it with you. Thanks for all the input when I was wondering about these two pieces. The 233 is still on my list, but will have to wait at least another year. Special thanks to Alfred (FNFZ4), one of the best trusted sellers on TRF. But on to the DSOTM! First impressions - it came in a very heavy and nicely finished black lacquered box. Very classy. The watch is stunning. It's black and its beautiful. It's shiny, but only when its reflecting light (I'm sure at the boutique, under all those lights it must really dazzle and shine, but under normal lighting and outdoors, it is perfectly balanced.) The sides of the case have a brushed finish whereas the front part of the lugs (where the it curves) is polished. It's not as large as i thought it would be. Compared to my Panerai 44mm, it is much smaller, as you can see in the side by side. It's also not as tall as som
Need trade advice: Rolex for Patek
All, I'm looking to acquire a Patek Aquanaut BNIB. I can trade for it with the following watches.Daytona Ceramic plus Explorer (newer model 2016) = even tradeOr, BLNR, SUB-C date, and Explorer (newer model 2016) + 3K.I've owned an Aquanaut in the past and regret selling it so know what I'm getting. Given the options above, which trade would you do? BTW, I love all the watches I just don't want to come out of pocket on the Patek. Thanks in advance for the advice. This is a tough decision for me.
My AD Gave me the inside scoop on the biggest new release at Basel...
It is a Yacht-MasterThe case is Everose. The bezel is different from those in years past.Rolex expects a significant spike in sales due to the release of this very special YM. It is expected that the bezel will be an optional 1 for 1 exchange for all Rolex sports watches except the Daytona. Rolex anticipates that most clients on waiting lists will choose to have this bezel installed rather than the standard bezel due to the amazing design.Rolex executives, according to my inside source, are patting themselves on the back for this innovative concept and having the resources to make it a reality. Here is a sneak peak look at it. Don't be jealous that I have this inside information
