Earlier this year A. Lange & Sohne announced a limited edition collection of (even more) decorated watches as homages of the 165th anniversary of their founder, Ferdinand Adolph (F.A.) Lange. This is the chronograph we have been waiting for from Cartier. The Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph is round, 40 mm in diameter, uses Cartier's great in-house caliber 1904-CH, and looks fantastic. 2 OF 4 When we reviewed the Calibre de Cartier Chronograph here, we agreed that though the merits of the excellent in-house chronograph movement were very real selling points, there was a lack of design cohesiveness throughout the piece-seen primarily on the dial. Hello everyone here at TRF! I'm so excited to be able to share my new addition with you all today. As a little back story, I have never been a big fan on Omega. I'm not exactly sure why?? But I have just always focused my passion and purchases on other brands such as Rolex, Patek, ALS, etc. Well just a few days ago I was presented with the opportunity to pick up this piece for what I feel to be a really attractive price and I just had to give Omega a shot.Well, now having been on the wrist for a couple days, I must say I could not be more impressed with this watch! It's the titanium model, so it is super light and may be the most comfortable watch I own (and I own a Patek Aquanaut!). In addition, this is the smaller 37.8mm size which works out extremely well for my smaller wrist size. I've never been a fan of oversized watches, so to have such a robust watch with 2,000 feet of water resistance in such a compact space is simply incredible! I've seen some of the Omega videos tha

My "greatest regret from not buying" moment...
For some reason, perhaps an unhealthy combination of booze and pills (totally kidding about that), I was having a remembering my greatest regret from not buying moment this evening and it turns out that it was actually over an Omega. About nine years ago (you know, when MSRP on a Seamaster 300M chronometer was $1,750), when I was still in college, I was in a jeweler in my home town and what did they have left in their case? A NOS Omega Dynamic chronograph. Retail on it was something ridiculously low, like $895 and I could have gotten a decent discount on it, but for a guy in school it still seemed like too much. Then, the other day I saw a used one for $1,250... So, anyone else have a moment like this?
