Omega Aqua Terra 2500C 39mm
I haven't seen to many discussions on the first generation of aqua terras. For those who own or have owned, what are your opinions of this aqua terra compared to the newer 8500 versions. The 2500s seem like a pretty good bargain for what they are offering.
Omega price increases
The MSRP on the POs will be $3950 and the 3570.50 Speedmaster Professional is going up to $3875. Increase is effective next Monday, March 1.The price increases vary across the lines. As a matter of fact, there is no price increase for the white dialed Alaska Project:BASEL C Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project
Why is it...
I am a member on several different Watch forums and I always visit the sales corner of every one of them.Just came up with the idea to get my Dad a nice pre-loved Aqua Terra, still figuring out what size and color...But I noticed that there aren't (m)any for sale out there, in fact I can't even remember when I ever saw one out there..Any thoughts on this..?
Can you negotiate
I am considering buying the PO 42mm but the online price I can find is ?250 cheaper than the high street stores. Can you negotiate with high street chains or are they unable to offer discounts? I would prefer to buy from a known high street shop but ?250 is a big difference in price.
My friend dropped my watch!
A friend asked to see my new SD4k when we met for dinner for a guys night out, I handed it to him and went to the bathroom. I came back and he told me he accidentally dropped it! 🤬. At first I only noticed a ding on the lug, and didn't care to fix it. But then today I saw that the crown has a bite out of it too!! He is willing to pay for it. I will definitely get the crown replaced, but am looking for advice if I should get the lug RE polishedI'd hate to do it but I also hate the feeling that the damage isn't from me and that I'll think about it every time I look at it. I live near the Beverly Hills service center. If I take my watch there, will they automatically polish the whole case even if I tell them not to? What do you guys think I should do?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
