Urwerk UR-105 TA 'Turbine Automatic' Watches In Fancy Colors
With the new-for-2015 Urwerk UR-105 TA collection, the Swiss brand is making one of their most appealing timepiece collections even better. In 2014, Urwerk first unveiled the UR-105M watches which introduced a great new design as well as a new entry-level price point for the brand. The next model in the family is the Urwerk UR-105 TA "Turbine Automatic Knight Watches," which extends the range with not only new visual styles, but a totally different movement. Whereas the UR-105M was a manually-wound timepiece, the Urwerk UR-105 TA (UR-105TA) contains an automatic winding movement (Urwerk's "Turbine Automatic" system).Why "Turbine Automatic?" Well, most Urwerk automatic watches have a oscillating rotor which is connected to a set of turbines that visually spin with the rotor. Ladies and Gentlemen,I present you, the Breitling Chronomat (last production before the Chronomat Evolution)! I always have a soft spot for the Chronomat Evolution. I know it doesn't have an in-house movement, but something about it just attracts me. For years I admire the the Chronomat Evolution and never pulled the trigger because it was just too big for my wrist. I came across this piece a week ago, but I wasn't sure about it at first. I was able to do more research and learned more of the model history. The more I learned the more I realized this was the watch I wanted; ~40mm which fits my wrist, COSC spec, and minimum text on the dial. And here it is! Wrist shot

So my AD has a RG 5205 coming in and called me offering to do a partial exchange on the 5146. I never been a big fan of YG or RG on watches but this one always intrigued me. What would you do?

This is the watch I've always wanted more than any other. But it's always been out of my reach. This week I finally have one to call my own. I did have to trade two other watches [inc an Exp 114270] but it was well worth it.It's original dial and domed plexi but service hands from 2001 [I'm fine with this and secretly rather like being able to tell the time when I wake up in the night] and it has been polished a little more than I'd like, but to me it's perfect.I'm posting here so I can have an excuse to see it again since it went straight to the watchmaker for a service today.. Anyway I love it and have gotten more of a thrill from owning this than from anything else I've bought. Thats all really.Oh and it came with box, service papers, original booklets etc and original Rolex Ad sales receipt [it was first sold in 1984] but oddly [to me] not original papers. Either they were sold or the original owner kept everything even the receipt but didn't consider the Rolex papers important..

Rolex explorer 36mm crown winding
Hello, I just have a question for owners of the rolex explorer 114270 36mm.I just purchased one a couple of days ago, i noticed the crown winding was a noticeably rougher than my rolex hulk and 40mm rolex explorer II.I took it back to the dealer I purchased from to get it checked out and he said it was normal and winding is normalIs this normal for the 114270 for the winding to be less 'buttery'Kind regards, Cloitus
