AP ROO Navy
I am thinking about adding AP Navy, does anyone has a pictures, wrist shots? I really like the blue strap/white dial/blue subdials combo, nice watch to wear with jeans. What is overall view on AP Navy, seems to me its not that popular from theme editions. I asked on TRF which one to pick between AP Navy and Rolex WG Sub blue dial and of course I got everyone voting for Rolex, wanted to ask the same question here. Thank you for your input
Patek Phillippe saying goes.....
You never own a Patek Phillippe, you just take care of it for the next generation. I say you never own a Patek Phillipe because it takes 3 generations to pay it off!
Are 116520 and 116500LN cases really exactly the same?
I have tried searching around for this info, through google and this forum. It appears that the general consensus is that 116520 and 116500LN cases are identical. However, recently I've had the chance to compare both closely and I think there are slight differences. Most noticeable are the backs of the crown guards. These two are described by dealer as unpolished.I am pretty new to Daytona's. Are these cases really different from factory?First image is 116500LN, second is 116520.
SD 43 running 11 sec. slow in 24hr period, anyone know any tricks before RSC?
SD 43 running very slow, started noticing it about a week ago and tracking it. Does anyone have any tricks to try before giving up and sending to RSC? - Hate going through that process, but obviously 11 seconds slow is bad....
Hard decision: Explorer (36 mm) or dark rhodium Yacht Master (37 mm)?
Hello, for a male I have a rather small wrist (only 17 mm) and my every day watch is an OP Date (34 mm).Next, I plan to buy a sports watch, but almost all of the Rolex watches I have tried on are way too big or just feel awkward on me. As for now, it only comes down to a 36 mm Explorer (114270), which would have to be pre-owned. (Again, the new 39 mm feels too big.)On the other hand, I could just wait (and save) for the new 37 mm dark rhodium Yacht Master (268622). I have tried on a 35 mm YM (168622) and with 2 extra mm it could just fit right. So what do you guys say: go for a decent used Explorer or wait for the new YM?Thanks for your opinions!
