F.P. Journe Chronometre Souverain Watch Available On James List
I could really use a little 'Journe' in my life, but the privilege don't come cheap. There is no per se "entry-level" F.P. Journe watch - that isn't exactly what the brand is about. You are supposed to earn up to a F.P. Journe - after you've toiled away earned and learning. Francois Paul doesn't want his watches on your wrist until you can fully appreciate them, and that takes some time being a watch nerd. However, if you are looking for a relatively reasonable way to get in the highly desirable brand, this Chronometre Souverain is a good "budget bet" compared to their $600,000 plus steel minute repeater watch. For about $25,000 - $30,000, you can get a gold or platinum watch with a beautiful refined design, wearer-focused feature set, and a stunning in-house made movement.Being 40mm wide, this is your classic moderately sized watch with a thin profile and a super legible face. New addition to the collection - Planet Ocean 600M Titanium
Hello everyone here at TRF! I'm so excited to be able to share my new addition with you all today. As a little back story, I have never been a big fan on Omega. I'm not exactly sure why?? But I have just always focused my passion and purchases on other brands such as Rolex, Patek, ALS, etc. Well just a few days ago I was presented with the opportunity to pick up this piece for what I feel to be a really attractive price and I just had to give Omega a shot.Well, now having been on the wrist for a couple days, I must say I could not be more impressed with this watch! It's the titanium model, so it is super light and may be the most comfortable watch I own (and I own a Patek Aquanaut!). In addition, this is the smaller 37.8mm size which works out extremely well for my smaller wrist size. I've never been a fan of oversized watches, so to have such a robust watch with 2,000 feet of water resistance in such a compact space is simply incredible! I've seen some of the Omega videos tha
The wait begins!
Thank you for all your help in helping me find my next timepiece!! Pictures in 3-4 days!(I already changed my avatar!)
Speedmaster "First Omega in space"
Omega is releasing a numbered edition replica of the first Omega worn in space. Its a bit smaller than the moon watch, the hands and lugs are different and it comes on a strap. Priced at CHF 4750. I gotta say I like it. What is your take on it?Read more here: .fratellowatches/omega...in-space-1962/
