Watches NEWS
This one
My son is in Rome, Italy, and stopped into the Omega store. He said they had an Omega with, I guess he said, meteorites on the face. I checked the Omega catalogue and online and can't find any info. Does anyone know? And maybe how much it would sell for? Thanks,AH
Modern bracelet on vintage Speedmaster
Would the Modern Speedmaster bracelet 1998/849 fit a vintage '1967 145.012 Speedmaster? I know the 1171 is the current replacement, but would the bracelet for modern Speedmasters still fit correctly?thanks

175th Anniversary watch on Sotheby's auction
The 5975G is up for auction at the Nov 10 Geneva Sotheby auction. It is one of the last watches listed in the Auction catalog..sothebys/pdf/2015/GE1504A/index.htmlI know several pieces from the 175th Anniversary Edition have been available for sale on ebay and from other re-sellers. But this may be the first one up for sale at a major auction house.
PAM00512 or Rolex 16613 Bluesy
Hi All. It's been over a year since my last watch and I am ready for my next one. After lots of (fun) reasearch and thinking, I am closing in on the Rolex 16613 and the PAM00512. Very differnent, I know, but those are the two that are speaking to me the most. I consider them to be at more or less the same price point (11613 would be pre-loved, of course; PAM00512 would be BNIB or LNIB).Any thoughts, especially in view of what I already have? Should I be considering anything else? Please refrain fro the whichever you like best and it's what you like that matters answers. I get that, and in the end that is what will decide it, but I really respect the views from the folks on this forum.FYI, I started this thread on the Rolex forum already, and wanted to see if the feedback was different here.
