On The Dash Publishes A Comprehensive Collector's Guide To The Heuer Autavia, Which Is, Needless
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jeff Stein and his OnTheDash is something really special in the vintage Heuer community. It is, without a doubt, the thought-leader in the space, full of honest (rare in the watch world) assessments and analysis of the ever growing culture of vintage Heuer chronographs. Today, Mr. Stein has published a fascinating look at the Autavia, in all its incarnations, with glances at differentiating specific models, which are most collectible and why, famous wearers of the Autavia, and pricing trends. Even if you have just a passing interest in the original Heuer racer's watch, this is worth a read.Check out Jeff Stein's collector's guide to the Heuer Autavia here.

Anyone see this in person yet?Would love to get one for the wife but...1-she doesn't like fancy watches2-id rather buy myself more ap!!!
don't know where to post but..
here it goes..Input needed from fellow forumers. I'm thinking of getting back into the AP fold, through the 15400ST( still can't decide which coloured dial). But in order to do that, I would need to let go of a couple of watches from the current collection. As it stands, I have 2 PAM, 372 and 292, and a rolex GMTIIC in my small collection.I was thinking of letting go of the 292, and the GMTIIC for a direct trade, or a little top up from myself.what would you do? quantity over quality or vice versa?thanks
Guys I did it!!
My Seamaster is my favorite watch to wear, it has sentimental value that none of my other watches have. I wear it often and that has taken its toll on the original bracelet. I've always been a fan of leather straps because they feel light weight and fit on the wrist nicely! So I bought a leather strap and took the plunge! I've never worked on a watch before, so i did a few mins of research and YouTube video watching and decided it was easy enough! Gathered my tools and went for it! I think it turned out great! It feels like a new watch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The coolest modern Rolex
is this one IMHO.
