Watches NEWS
Christopher Ward C65 Classic Watch
When it comes to affordable watches with some interesting styling, Christopher Ward has been on the radar for most of us, and new for the brand is the Christopher Ward 65 Classic. One of the first watches I came into contact with from them was their excellent C60 Trident GMT. Given that history, I was rather intrigued to see their new iteration in that lineup, the C65 Trident Classic. This takes the Trident line from it's sport roots, and moves it most definitely into the realm of a dress watch. We still keep the same handset, and the wave pattern embossed into the dial. The 42mm case carries a similar profile as well, though here it's done up in a satin finish. And that's where we depart from similarities, and start talking about the differences. Attached to the case is a new bracelet (a leather strap is available as well). On the dial side of Christopher Ward C65 Classic, we see a new color the Trident lineup hasn't had before (optic white), along with a familiar hue (matte black). Sin
Went out to buy milk and got these instead
So as I was commenting on my 15400ST incoming thread that I wanted to get the conversion kit to be able to rock a leather strap and that way is like having 2 watches lol one with leather the other with bracelet, just waiting a few more days to maybe score an oem deploying clasp cheaper than the boutique (fingers crossed)
two watch collection
I've been spending too much time on this forum and it's bad for my health. Considering consolidating my collection to two watches. Flipped the 5167a since it didn't sing to me quite like I had hoped, and same for my offshore. Been thinking about the 5164, 5167r, 5712, AP 15202, or smurf sub. JLC Jubilee ultrathin platinum would be the other watch. I'm waiting for the 5711, but it's been a year at my dealer still with some others ahead of me, so im not going to hold my breath for that one. I'm also particular to the dual time of the 5164, and the chocolate dial of the 5167r. Smurf sub seems like an ideal only watch, but I was irritated by the flak I got for my 16610lv just because it was a rolex (even tho I never got comments on my ap or patek or jlc). Just curious what everyone's thoughts are.
Gold slytech??
Can anyone shed some light on this rumor?? I have heard that there was a single 47mm Slytech Luminor Submersible in 18k (yellow or rose) gold... and of course it's in Sly's possession... there's only one.Can anyone confirm this, and if so show a pic or a link to this. Thanks
