Carl F. Bucherer’s Patravi EvoTec DayDate Gets an Update
In 2008 Carl F. Bucherer achieved Manufacture status with the introduction of the CFB A1000 automatic winding movement with a peripheral rotor that combines the technical values of the central rotor with the visual advantages of the micro-rotor. The EvoTec DayDate is now available in a cushion-shaped case with a new steel bezel. Find wallpaper and pricing inside. Beyond the peripheral rotor, the CFB A1000 caliber offers several other technical advances. The patented rotor mounting is assisted by DLC-coated rollers which are themselves mounted on ball bearings. The DLC coating provides a hardness exceeding 2,00 Vickers, which makes it several times harder than steel, the customary material used. The system requires no lubrication. The ball bearing/roller assemblies are mounted on rocking bars. Special springs allow highly accurate positioning of the rollers, and eccentrics ensure precise adjustment of the bars. Introducing The Zenith El Primero 36,000 VpH in 42mm With A Tri-Color Dial (Live Pics, Pricing, Deta
This is a watch that is a long time coming.? In fact, we'd bet most of you thought this watch already existed.? It didn't, until this Basel World.? What it is is a 42mm El Primero with the traditional Zenith Tri-Color dial.? It is just an awesome looking watch with a wonderful in-house high-beat chronograph movement that has thousands of fans the world over.? 2 OF 5 The reason we're venturing to say that most people already thought this watch existed is because there were (and are) quite a few models from Zenith that look very much like it.? In fact, you can have the exact same watch in 38mm (released in 2011)?, the same dial with a slightly different case, the same watch with a different dial, or most famously, you can have the all but similar dial AND 42mm case in the limited edition Striking Tenth watch, which features a modified El Primero that allows for 1/10th of a second timing (a watch we featured in a full Week On The Wrist review here).? 3 OF 5 In
Old Dynamic questions
Just bought this little beauty off EBay. Had a few questions after doing a bit of research. I posted it on the Omega forum but no one has replied. I believe it to be genuine but have not seen another with the white second hand. All the others have blue second hands. Also my bracelet links are rolled sandwich links and all the others I have seen are solid. Any help is greatly appreciated.
