what do you think of the black white gmt??
the word UGLY just rolled out my mouth.why did they do this??
Incoming Vintage alert...
Issued 1956 6B/159 3xxx/56 - interesting one this one as its an official RAF mod of an earlier 1943 watch - recased in a denisson case with new dial and lumed over hands. Usually worn by Lancaster Bomber navigators and the like 30T2 movement. So whereas it never left the Omega factory like this, it certainly must have some stories to tell:
Sell Panerai to make way for another, or add?
Hi everyone, I'm after some advice please.I currently have a Panerai 40mm GMT (PAM 244) and a Rolex Sea Dweller (ceramic 116600). I bought the Panerai brand new in January 2008 and it's a fantastic watch. I wanted it for about five years before I eventually got it (originally I wanted the 159 but it became the 244 after some time). Nearly 10 years later the watch is still with me, in virtually as new condition as I don't wear my nice watches that often and when I do I'm very careful.I recently started looking at Panerai again and have come across the 1392 (42mm 1950 case etc). I managed to try it on and it feels better on the wrist than my 244 - lighter weight, and thinner, so it doesn't feel as top heavy. The question is, do I buy the 1392 and add it, or do I sell the 244? I'm concerned I will miss the 244 after having had it so long. I have made a certain attachment to it! If I sell it I don't know how much I will get but I think I might feel it is worth more to me than the money I re
Does anyone make a Deployant clasp for Panerai that doesn't suck?
I hate my PAM 104 deployant clasp. It's curved so great it digs into my wrist. I bought a Panerai brand normal non-deployant buckle and a couple straps, but now I can't wear the old straps since the deployant buckle is terrible and straps aren't cross compatible. Should I write off the old straps and buy all new ones? And also, where would I find replacement screws? I haven't lost any yet, but as tiny as they are I'm afraid I'll strip or lose one.
