Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Chrono Watch
For 2012 Chopard once again comes out with a new Mille Miglia watch. This time it's a GMT chronograph as a limited edition. According to Chopard, the Mille Miglia represents "consistently reinvented perfection". That sounds pretty lofty. I would go with "consistently renovated". That better represents how Chopard makes slows changes and visual enhancements to the core design. While these are expensive watches, I've always been happy with them when it comes to look, comfort, quality, and utility. The Mille Miglia GMT Chrono is an evolution on a design that we all know. Tweaks here are interesting. Let's look at the back of the watch first. Usually there would be a sapphire crystal caseback window. Given that the watch contains a modified 7750 - that we've all see before - Chopard decided to make a solid caseback. They did it with a nice Mille Miglia race engraving surrounded by a ring of perlage. I don't hide the fact that I love perlage, so this design feature appeals to me. There was a

Opinion needed on an Omega
Hi guys,I'm new to the forums. I was referred here by a member of a car forum. Anyhow, I'm looking into purchasing an Omega in the very near future. So far I've narrowed it down to either the Seamaster 300 M chrono diver or the 300 M chronometer. The design of the chrono diver is a bit more striking but the chronometer has the co-axial escapement. So I have two questions for you guys: which should I go with (which would YOU go with)?? and if I go with the 300 M chronometer, should I go with the quartz or automatic (any major things I should know about)??I'm new to watches for please forgive my ignorance. Thank you for any advice/opinion in advance!!
Rubber strap and buckle question
Hi everyone,I just changed to a rubber strap on my Pam. One I had a hard time removing the screw from the buckle from my leather strap where I was getting the buckle from...just wouldn't pull out after I turned the screw a few times. Is this normal? Also is the buckle screw supposed to have a tube like the screws that go through the case?
Celebrating Christmas with my
Submariner. The 14060M COSC non-date. Not new, I purchased it NIB when they were first introduced by Rolex back in the mid 2000 era. I have not had occasion to have it serviced. It was recently checked out by the Rolex watchmaker at Wynn's Rolex boutique, and pronounced fit and healthy. I am and hope you all are as well.
