SIHH 2013, You Control The Watch Coverage
In about a week I will be on the ground in Geneva covering the 2013 edition of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH). Read this post fully because the important stuff is at the end. This will be our 4th SIHH show, but our week in Geneva doesn't stop there. In addition to the SIHH we will be at the Geneva Time Exhibition (GTE), and meet with a number of other brands who will be presenting in the area. SIHH sounds hectic but in reality it is much more relaxed than the ten plus days you can spend in Basel at Baselworld madly meeting with as many brands as possible.Seeing that many watches can be overwhelming - even for us. And by us I mean that this year it will be more than just me (Ariel Adams) walking around with a bunch of photo equipment. watches-dealer as a team, continues to grow in cohesion. Konstantin Chaykin Lunokhod Watch
Is "Konstantin Chaykin" like the dark version of "Vacheron Constantin?" At very least the name sounds like the Russian version but then again "Konstantin Chaykin is a Russian name. While most of his work is in the clock category, Konstantin Chaykin now debuts a fascinating timepiece that he called the Lunokhod. The watch focuses on its novel moon phase indicator, and has a really interesting design that seems to fit with the brand's motto "religion of time" (sounds creepy, I know).Konstantin Chaykin is a very accomplished watchmaker and is a member of the AHCI (where all the coolest indy watch makers want to be!). He seems to specialize in complex calendar clocks, so I recommend you check out his website for some neat stuff. The Lunokhod watch is something else entirely. The name means "moon walker" and it is his homage to Michael Jackson. No, that's a joke. It refers to a Russian un-manned lunar lander that went to the moon in 1970. ok, i had enough of all these amazing pictures from you guys, and just had to see what all the fuss was about as i had never handled an AP before. went to a local boutique and got to play with the following models.....all i can say is WOW!, AP makes a fine watch. each was really special and each felt like an event when i tried it on. fun trip!

What speedmaster is this?
Im so attracted to this model but this is the only picture I could find.In the page I found it (fratello watches) it says that it is a red gold broad arrow speedmaster schumacher edition however, if a google it that way nothing appears.I love the red gold, the black bezel, and the rubber strap of this model, can anyone confirm me what model is this or the reference number please?Thanks a lot.
