Oris SA has established a new U.S. and Caribbean subsidiary, Oris watches USA and named V.J. Geronimo as the chief executive officer. Entry into force on 1 September, the new subsidiary distribution in the United States of changes focused on the Hawthorne, N.Y. Oris USA, Inc., led by Mark Wasserman. Oris officials, said the move reflects a decision to exercise more control over the distribution in the US market.

Why the Maxi case? Just a thought
I really could do without the maxi lugs on my 114060 it's probably my only dislike, and I have sold and repurchased it 2 times and I'm thinking about selling again. I keep thinking why did Rolex redesign the case with the thick lugs. After looking at vintage subs with thin over polish lugs, I though maybe Rolex redesigned case with the though of longevity in mind! Imagine in say 30, 40 years it could withstand numerous polishing and the lugs would be the same as say a new 5513 Just a thought

Two SS in One Day
So this just happened. According to the AD in Guam, one of their regulars had been waitlisted for this BLNR for many months. One unit finally arrived last week, but for some reason the customer backed out. The next day, my cousin was walking around the mall and remembered I had asked her to be on the lookout for a BLNR. She just casually asked if they have one in stock, expecting a hard no, but lo and behold! They have one that they were just about to put on display.
