Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater Watch
2015 sees the release of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater watch. Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of the most revered names in watchmaking and is fondly referred to as La Grande Maison, which can be loosely translated as The Great Manufacture. In its rich 182-year history, the company has created over a thousand calibers, registered 400 or so patents and has numerous inventions credited to its name. And for the most part of the past century, it even provided movement blanks to Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin. The caliber 920 is a great example of this and is still used even today by Audemars Piguet in Reference 15202 Extra-thin Royal Oak, also known as the Jumbo. It is also one of the few manufactures that is well versed in all horological complications. I did a very bad thing.....
some of you guys may know after a few years hiatus I've recently come back to this site. Last month I purchased a new 39mm Explorer 214270. Not being content I placed an order for a BLNR (which should arrive 2nd week of Aug) So for a couple of weeks I stopped obsessing about Rolexes. Well browsing the omega forums was not a good idea for me either. I now have a 3570.50.00 incoming
Come on.....
Hi all,Wow, this kinda sucks... when I put the exact time on my new 5712, using the reverse crown turn to make it exact, and I push the crown back in, the second hand continues to be blocked for some time, even have to make it move to deb lock its the time is really not exact at all, just great after my AP ceramic case cracked, getting a 5167R soon just need the sticking date issue and we'll have a homerun. This ever happened to anyone and how did you solve the problem? Thanks for your help guys
Thinking about selling.
I always thinking to sell my 5980/1A because its always stay in the safe. But today I change my mind after I'm wearing it again. My watch is so cool :))ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360898171.231432.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1360898201.347405.jpg
Incoming Explorer and thoughts on my journey thus far
Forgive the long-winded post - I think I may have too much free time at my desk this morning...I've nearly reached the end of my self-imposed delay at long last. Later today, I'm headed to the AD to pick up the Explorer they put aside for me nearly three long months ago, and I really do feel like I did at 10 years old on Christmas Eve, before heading to my beloved Grandmother's house for the feast and celebrations and, of course, presents. When I went to the AD back in August to choose which model I wanted, I promised to myself that I would only pick it up as a reward for accomplishing a few important things, some of which needed a little more time, and now I'm finally there. Also, as I outlined in another post somewhere, when it comes to luxury or pleasure-based purchases, I've always really enjoyed the anticipation nearly as much as the possession, so it wasn't too hard for me to make the decision to wait a little. It'll make the experience later this afternoon that much sweeter, aft
