Royal Oak strange pricing and availability
Hey guys,Not that I'm buying any of the these two at the moment, but wanted to gain some knowledge regarding the two, as it came as a surprise to me.So the 39mm SS Royal oak jumbo ref:15202ST.OO.1240ST.01, sells for a retail of $22,700. It has no discount and is very had to get. It's just time and date without a seconds hand. (Some say it has a wait list)On the other hand 41 mm SS Royal oak ref:15400ST.OO.1220ST.03, is what I beleive a newer version of the above, is easily available, has a seconds hand and retails at $17,800. Plus you can get a discount on that aswell What's up with that? Can anyone explain
AP guys in Philly?
Just wondering if any regulars here live in Philly? I'll be there next week for the holidays, and a small GTG would be fun. Any interesting watch shops in the city?
Went for the PO...bought from Mumbai!
well....after much deliberation......I decided to go for the PO rather that the DSSD - wanted a bigger watch ...my darling Grandmother just passed away and left each Grandchild (she had 8 kids!!!) a little money..so my wife Alison thought I should put it towards a new watch and that would always be from her. I have to say the PO (black) really got my attention...and I got an absolutely fantastic deal here in India while visitingwith family....so, I am thrilled to have this beauty on my wrist. Quick shot taken with mobile here now....certainly has great presence and I love the clean dial...so thank you Nunny Ji....this will always be in my collection.here are the bad pics ... [apologies]:
Pressure testing Nautilus,Aquanaut
Question ,to those who are regulalry expose their PPs to water ,how often you guys bring your watches to pressure test ,yearly or more often ?Have they ever failed or passed everytime.Do you know if PP use wet or dry testers in their SCs?I do it once a year but I feel it a bit overkill. Thanks for you input
First Bath after 4 Months....
I did not realize how dirty/oily it had become. Lightly brushed with Dawn and shot some pictures.
