H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Collection Launched With Zero Gravity Experience
There can be little doubt that Heinrich Moser never foresaw the conditions under which the descendants of his first timepieces would be tested 187 years after the foundation of the company in 1828. Based in Neuhausen, Switzerland, H. Moser & Cie. manufactures hairsprings and regulating organs, which feature in their 8 in-house calibres as well as the wares of their partner companies. Despite having just 50 employees, the company is no stranger to world-firsts. Last month, on September 22nd, H. Moser & Cie. took part in the first Swiss parabolic flight. With the assistance and expertise of the Swiss Air Force, the performance of watch components featured in the newly released H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer collection were tested in a weightless environment. The flight was made possible by Witschi Electronics and in-flight support from engineer Johannes Mayr.In order to achieve weightlessness and experience a zero-gravity environment, a fixed wing aircraft follows an elliptic flight

Liquid Metal ...Sold out?!?
This is what my AD tells me...He was never able to get one in stock, and now tells me that they are sold out and he won't be getting one. When you hear that something is a limited edition, it's usually a sales ploy..I've seen any shortage of 'limited editions' before.I guess I should have jumped on it when I had the chance.I tried it on at the Omega Boutique in NYC last week....it is absolutely stunning!Better than any photo can possibly show....heads and shoulders above the sub-cOnly reason I didn't jump was because I was sure that my AD would beat the price...
Any truth to this?
My local AD sales guy claims that Patek makes about 30,000-40,000 watches a year and only 5% are stainless steel watches. On top of that, around 90% of those SS watches are the women's model Twenty 4. I had a hard time believing that, but he was adamant that he was correct. I know 40,000 watches seems about right. But 5% SS would mean about 2,000 SS watches between all models. Even if half produced were the Twenty 4, that would leave only 1,000 for all Nautilus and Aquanaut models.Anyone ever heard this??
Does anyone think Rolex is going to start doing complications?
Do you think it's possible that Rolex is going to start doing more complications, maybe start to expand their Cellini line?
