B.R.M. 3MVT-52 Three Dial Watch Available On James List
Three dials and three movements, this B.R.M. (BRM) 3MVT-52 (also known at the 3MVT-52N watch was origianlly released in 2006 and was to a degree a watch that was ahead of its time. Why? Because it was damn big at 52mm wide and in titanium. Each movement is an automatic ETA 2671 mechanical movement that has its own dedicated crown. Now you can understand the scheme behind the model name of the watch "3MVT-52" - three movements, 52mm wide. BRM watches all have a auto racing theme. Nothing says auto racing more than a checkerboard pattern, which is what the sides of the watch are decorated with over the titanium case. The frames around the case have drilled holes and screws and serve a nice cosmetic function to make the face of the watch and the three dials really pop out. The Tourby Marine Enamel, Reviewed by The Watch Curmudgeon
I love watches! And I love to complain! Therefore, I love to complain about watches. Especially those in my collection. Now don't get me wrong: I'm crazy about most of my watches, but there's always a little something that annoys me. It could be a graphic element; the size of a case; dim lume; a date that doesn't snap over precisely at the stroke of midnight; or other little glitches too numerous to list. Perfection has always eluded me. Until now, that is.Case: Polished StainlessMovement: ETA Unitas 6498-1Dial: White EnamelLume: N/ALens: Domed SapphireStrap: AlligatorWater Res.: 50mDimensions: 42mmThickness: 10mmLug Width: 22mmCrown: 6 mm push-pullWarranty: 1 year-Price: $800 (apprx)April 24 was my birthday, and when I got together with my wife and kids for dinner, I expected to get a shirt, some colorful socks and maybe even the obligatory sweater. What I got instead almost gave me a coronary: a Tourby Marine, one of my most desired grails. When I opened that large, heavy, maple box
Omega Speedmaster Tintin
What is your opinion about Speedmaster Tintin reference 311.30.42.30.01.004?Is it popular among Omega fans that may have a chance to become collectible in the future or it is just another among many variations of Moonwatch ?I have read story about Omega plans to celebrate Tintin moon landing with small rocket printed on the dail which was rejected by publisher but not sure if this and the fact that nobody knows how many of them were produced will make this particular model desirable.Long time Rolex and Panerai user I am new into Omega and would like to hear and learn more about this particular watch.Thank you very much for feedback. For all who have not seen watch or maybe forgotten a reference photo below.Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
